Vue Picture: Ardent Veridian
Friday, January 12th, 2007A render using atmospheres and plants from Linda Daireaux’s Incredibly Lush Tropical Paradise. The ecosystem covering the island is a modified version of one that came in the pack. I moved the palms into a separate layer with altitude dependant distribution because they didn’t look right when they were breaking the lines of the mountains […]
Virtual Fashion Updated
Tuesday, December 5th, 2006Tonight I’ve been updating software. Several bits of software wanted updates applied all at once. One in particular was frustrating because its update demanded I update video drivers which in turn demanded I install some optional windows updates. All told it took over an hour. Tuesday, November 28th, 2006Just playing with a heavy fog atmosphere in Vue 6 Infinite. The water is a flat plain with a slightly tweaked dark water material added and the bump map turned into a displacement map. The model is the Bridge of Sighs from Cornucopia 3d.
Ivy Close Up
Sunday, November 19th, 2006Glad to answer questions and requests when I’ve got the time Incredibly Lush Ivy Kit especially when it saves me having to come up with something to post on an otherwise pretty dull Saturday. I rendered it against a simple displacement mapped brick wall although not a lot of it is showing through.
Last Nights Vue 6 Render Tonight
Saturday, November 18th, 2006Finally finished the render I’d was going to post last night. Not that it took all day to render. Just couldn’t get it to look anywhere near what I wanted. The ivy is from Linda’s Incredibly Lush Ivy Kit and there are some other plants from her Underbrush pack too. The ruin is a model […]
D'Artagnan and the Cardinal's Spy

More Smarty Templates
Sunday, September 17th, 2006I’ve been converting my site to smarty templates today. The job isn’t finished yet but I’ve made a good start on the templates and the code to call them.
