The Oriel Chambers by Peter Elis completed in 1864 was the first building anywhere in the world to feature a metal framed glass curtain wall. It and 16 Cook Street are the only known building by Elis.

These two panoramas were taken from Tate Modern’s Members Room balcony overlooking the river Thames. The first (top one) was taken 5th July 2014 and the bottom one on 4th July 2015.
