Far Too Normal

After an hour of carefully looking at my database design for the new Impworks site I’m pretty certain I normalized it to the fifth normal form. I wish I could say I’d planned to do that at the outset but to be honest I didn’t. Without even thinking about it I designed it that way. I don’t think I’ve even looked up what normalization means since I did a database design course nine years ago. I’d forgotten what the fourth and fifth levels were defined as. I’d done them anyway. I’ve clearly been doing this too long.
