Vue 6 Mirror Ball Test Render

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

Messing around with Vue 6 tonight I wen’t back to an old idea of doing a picture with a mirror ball in it. Just the end result of playing around which proves the mirror ball can be made to work in Vue 6.

My First Vue 6 Render

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

Naked Victoria wearing nothing but spectral atmosphere. My first render with Vue 6 Infinite. Not my normal type of render but I was playing around with the new clouds. Then I thought I’d try poser import out. Then I thought I’d combine the two and do the first NVWNbaSA picture. Rendered with user settings and […]

In the process of bumping off a minor character in the Fairy Tale Noir I decided he deserved a bit of a monologue before he goes. However he’s both a bit of a geek and has a bad habbit of wandering way off the point. So he wanders and I needed to do some research […]

A heron in the park on a misty morning as I walked to work. A sunset from the office window towards the Littlewoods Building.

Inevitable Torchwood Post

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

Robin Hood men in Gap had me worried. I was concerned the creativity, box ticking types had taken over BBC’s new fun drama output. However I liked Torchwood. Epidsode Two may well mean it never gets a mainstream audience in some countries and it isn’t exactly a new idea although the little piles of ash […]

Characters on the Couch (Part 15)

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

This Follows on from: Characters on the Couch (Part 14). The first part can be found at: Characters on the Couch (Part 1). So why use Archetypes? As a writer there are several advantages to using archetypes when designing characters. Archetypes give characters personalities that readers can easily identify with. They make characters memorable by […]
