Well Orange it would appear don’t like losing customers. They don’t mind not providing a service. They have no problem with rubbish tech support. They don’t like letting go though. I’ve just tried, again, to cancel the broadband contract I had with them. The first time I couldn’t do it till I’d transferred my service. I can live with that. Now though? The service has been transferred. Now I get a new party line. You can only cancel by phone between 9AM and 5:30PM. So why wasn’t I told that before? They don’t take cancellations in writing. I’d love to hear what a court would say to that. Apparently it will only take 5 minutes – does that include the 5 minutes on hold before they answer?
