V5I: Roman Candle

Friday, June 2nd, 2006

After 3 renders I think this is about at a point where I can show it off without wincing too much. A Roman Candle made using VueDynamics 0.3 Animation: romancandle3.avi (449Kbyte DivX) I’m off to bed now. If you want to know how I made this tune in tommorrow night (GMT). Edit 5th June 2006: […]

V5I: Vue Dynamics 0.3 – Now with Added Particles

Monday, May 29th, 2006

I’ve just uploaded the latest version of VueDynamics with added particle emitting capabilities. Particles can be subjected to the same forces as objects could in previous versions. Tha basic Vue objects are available as particles. They can be given a maximum age and set to be destroyed if they pass below infinite plains with the […]

V5I: Mill in Fog Take 2

Saturday, May 27th, 2006

Left my PC on overnight rendering a new version of animated fog made with VueDynamics. Increased the number of sheres from 400 to 600 and added a drift from left to right to the random walk animation with spin on the spheres. Also tried a heavier standard Vue fog in the atmosphere to fade the […]

V5I: VueDynamic 0.2.1

Sunday, May 21st, 2006

I’ve just put uploaded a minor update new version of the VueDynamic script, VueDynamics0_2_1.zip. Version 0.2.1 . It fixes a problem I found with a starting frame set to anything other than 0 resulting in weird animation of objects between frame zero and the first frame of the effect being applied If you need help […]

V5I: Exploding VOB

Saturday, May 20th, 2006

I was sat on the bus coming back from doing my usual Saturday shopping and I was wondering if there was any way I can share VueDynamic with Vue users who don’t have Vue 5 Infinite. One possibility is to generate pre animated VOB files. So as an experiment I’ve made two simple shrapnel explosions […]

Not the Foggiest

Friday, May 19th, 2006

I’ve been playing around with an animation of a camera moving past the Mill in the Fairytale Places set from Daz. I’ve not got a finished animation to show off but I did do a simple picture of it that shows off the fog effect I’ve been working on quite well I think. Once I’ve […]

V5I: Camera Animation Save and Load Updated

Thursday, May 18th, 2006

FuzzyVizion discovered a problem with the Vue Camera Animation Save and Load script I wrote. I’ve updated the Load script so that by default it creates a new camera (which you can choose a name for). Both scripts come in a small zip file – Camera Animation Save and Load.

Tonight Postponed

Monday, May 15th, 2006

I was going to post a little animation tonight but it wont be finished rendering for a few hours yet.

Mission Mundane

Sunday, May 14th, 2006

So having gotten my thought on Mission Impossibe (like anyone cares) off my chest here is the rest of my Sunday. Two or maybe three hours spent doing some really boring reading about my pension including House of Commons reports (Dull), company statements (Dull and Unhelpful) and campaign web sites (Biased). Time I’ll never get […]
